Together with the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM), we are going to organize a seminar entitled “Plastics & Sustainable Development Forum” (Plastic Forum) on 11 November 2008 at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Besides introducing the contribution of plastics towards sustainable development to stakeholders, the forum will also focus on the following essential aspects:

Plastics related management strategies (including legislation) around the world, including consumer eduction
Actual application of plastics resulting in constribtuion to sustinable development
Holistic post-consumer plastics management and situation in Hong Kong
We strive to provide proper background and to stimulate further discussion on the path forward for proper utilization of plastics and holistic management of post-consumer plastics in Hong Kong.
