The HKSAR Government has pledged to develop and promote green purchasing. More and more corporations are implementing green procurement, and many of them have signed the Hong Kong Green Purchasing Charter (HKGPC), requiring that their supply chains comply with their green policies. Speakers at a joint HKGCC-Green Council seminar on October 31 spoke about green purchasing initiatives, and how their businesses implement the policy.
