The Forum is aim to develop the common core criteria for Paints and Toner Cartridges in Asia region. This will serve as the groundwork for mutual recognition of different labelling schemes in the future. Regions participated in this forum discussion including Japan, Thailand, Korea and Taiwan. Comprehensive discussion was conducted on the standard of common core criteria, test methods and assessment requirements. After the two-day Forum, an initial consent was reached, the finalized report on the common core criteria would be submitted to Global Eco-labelling Network, Nordic Swan and experts from the sectors to seek comments.
